Bachelor of Theology (BTh)

 

The programme is designed to provide an undergraduate theological education for students who are called to Christian ministry for effective leadership and participation in a wide range of ministries.  It prepares students for general pastoral ad leadership responsibilities in a local church and other settings.  The programme seeks to train students in ministerial competencies, relationship building, and integrity of character.  It also aims to equip students to integrate faith and practice, and to increase the effectiveness in the ministry.

 

 

Duration of Study: 4 years study

General Requirements

  • Christian Experience: The applicant must be a professed follower of Jesus and a baptized member in good standing with his or her church. He or she must have a call and commitment to Christian ministry.
  • Church Affirmation: The applicant must be a baptized member in good standing with his or her church. The applicant’s commitment to fellowship, relationship with church members and leadership must be affirmed. The application must be endorsed by his or her church leaders.
  • Language Proficiency: The applicant must be proficient in English (in writing formal paper) and confident in communicating with the professors and others. Applicants from non-English speaking cultures are required to take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the IELTS test.

Admission Requires: Church endorsement; H.S graduate, Dip. Certificate
