Master of Divinity (MDiv)
This programme is professional degree designed to prepare Christians who are called to enter full-time Christian ministry and for general pastoral and leadership responsibilities in a local church and other setting. Our curriculum proves general theological studies and places emphasis on ministerial competency, relationship building and leadership integrity.
Duration of Study: 4 years study
General Requirements
- Christian Experience: The applicant must be a professed follower of Jesus and has been a Christian for at least two years. He or she must have a call and commitment to Christian ministry.
- Church Affirmation: The applicant must be a baptized member in good standing with his or her church. The applicant’s commitment to fellowship, relationship with church members and leadership must be affirmed. The application must be endorsed by his or her church leaders.
- Practical Maturity: The applicant must be at least 24 years of age.
- Language Proficiency: The applicant must be proficient in English (writing formal paper) and confident in communicating with the professors and others. Applicants from non-English speaking cultures are required to take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) and obtain minimum of 550 points (or 213 computer-based points), or the IELTS test and obtain a band score of 5 and above.
Admission Requires: Church endorsement; Bachelor degree equivalent.
